CHEESE POTATO TIKKI RECIPE


Presenting easy-peasy little cheesy snack recipe. I am sharing easiest two tikki recipes. One with you  schezwan sauce and other without schezwan sauce.


Ingredients: 
(Makes – 15 Tikkis)

Potato – 4 medium
Onion – 1 small
Ginger garlic paste – 3 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Sliced cheese – ½ cup
Schezwan-  3 tbsp
Corn flour – 1 Tbsp
Water – ¼ cup
Maida/All purpose flour – ½ cup
Oil – 3 Tbsp
Salt

Method: SCHEZWAN CHEESE TIKKI

  1. Boil the potatoes along with salt till they are cooked well. Peel the skin and mash the potatoes
  2. Heat oil 2 Tbsp of oil in a pan and add sliced onion and sauté till onion becomes soft.
  3. Add 3-4 tbsp of Schezwzn sauce. Add mashed potatoes and mix well
  4. Mix all ingredients and make small balls, place 2 inch cheese slice in between the ball
  5. Apply little oil in your hand and make it to small balls. (You will find this step little difficult. But don’t worry about the shape, it can be done proper with the following steps)
  6. Mix corn flour with water well so that no lumps are there. With the help of a spoon dip each potato cheese balls you made in it and then roll it with maida/all-purpose flour. Mixture wont stick any more.
  7. Make it into medium-sized patties.
  8. Heat a flat frying pan, grease it with oil and fry the patties.
  9. Fry till they become golden brown in color by turning them in between. Serve hot with mayonnaise .
