10 PRODUCTIVE THINGS TO DO DURING SELF QUARANTINE

I know time is tough for all of us. We are dealing with COVID-19 Pandemic and as for precaution we are suggested to stay at home and maintain social distance (self-quarantine). Here is some of my tips to utilize this time and do productive work at home.

What is Self – quarantine: Novel CoronaVirus (COVID-19)?

It means staying at home/accommodation and not leaving until the situation is under control and not to invite visitors at home. It is little different from isolation as here healthy/well persons have to restrict the movement. Quarantine help to limit the spread of communicable disease.

If you cannot go OUTSIDE, why not to come INSIDE

On the bright side you have opportunity to use this time to go inside and connect with your soul. Take time to slow down and simplify your life, do a little soul work while giving chance to the World to settle everything.

10 PRODUCTIVE THINGS TO DO DURING SELF QUARANTINE

1- Meditate

Learn and try meditation using good app or on YouTube tutorial. Their are tons of free apps and tutorials available on internet. I like "CALM app" you can find many other. This will help you to brush your mental health and to achieve equanimity which is I guess most important in everyone's life.

2- Summer cleaning

Summer is here so why not to clean your space and make everything fresh. From wardrobe to study table, from kitchen to bed room. Clean and fresh surrounding will definitely uplift your mood.  

3- Skin care

We often ignore skin care due to heavy work load and busy schedule. Catch up with your skin care routine. As better skin is a natural concomitant of confidence.

4- Practice yoga at home

Learn and practice yoga using various online tutorials. There are plenty of free apps available on play store, whether you are beginner or pro; younger or old courses are available for each group. Through yoga you will achieve not only better shape but also better immunity.

5- Complete your pending work

We all have pending works, this is the perfect time to complete all sorts of pending work. If you are student then you have great opportunity to catch up with all your pending home works and to work on your weak topics. 

6- Read quality book

There are tons of quality books pick anyone and start reading. Tie yourself with a quality book and you will never be bored again.

7- Organize and Declutter

From online to offline stuff practice organization and declutter nonsense.

8- Cook healthy

Try cooking healthy recipes. People from different professions are trying their hand in leaning new recipe. Below is the link of some easy healthy recipes and smoothie.

9- Update your online social network

Update your social network and make it look more presentable, add new people, subtract negative people. 

10- Communicate with your friends (online)

We generally don’t have time for such things but now you have plenty of time to reconnect with your old friends. It will refresh some of your old memories and make you look the past situation from different point of view.
